Carter Hosts Health Care Town Hall
Dr. English explains how the health care legislation impacts you
Congressional candidate, Liz Carter, will host a meeting with Dr. Jeffrey B. English at the City of Lilburn Auditorium on Thursday, Sept. 30 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Dr. English, a Board Certified Neurologist with sub-specialty training in Clinical Neurophysiology, is in private practice in Atlanta, Ga. He is the Clinical Research Director at the Multiple Sclerosis Center of Atlanta, a non-profit organization he helped develop for the treatment of patients with multiple sclerosis.
A national speaker on multiple sclerosis and on the economics of health care delivery, Dr. English writes a health care series, “HC on Call.” The series focuses on issues such as socialized medicine around the world, Medicare, and the recently passed health care legislation.
The meeting on Thursday will be a review of the recently passed healthcare legislation where Dr. English will share how it impacts our daily lives.
Dr. English is dedicated to educating patients about the health care system and how the recent legislation will drastically change the relationship between doctors and patients.
U.S. Representative Nominee for Georgia District 4 Liz Carter agrees. “There are key issues that every citizen and business owner needs to be aware of and understand,” she said.
The meeting in the auditorium is located at 76 Main Street, Lilburn, Ga.
