I’ve done extensive research on all the candidates and have always comfortable with and liked Romney. Many felt the same way in 2008 and he hasn’t changed.
I also lived in MA and know how liberal their legislature is. So when I started researching the facts of what he did, what he pulled to the center from the far left, etc., I understood and came to know him as a great Governor. I don’t love the MA Healthcare mandate, but I don’t think he does either. He fought lots of provisions in that legislation, but had to be careful as not to just get vetoed and overridden by a 85% plus liberal legislator.
I also believe that he’s an incredibly humble man with incredible integrity and character. I’d like my sons to actually be able to look up to the President again and think that it’s not just about respecting the office, but we put an example in office this time. He is that guy, personally and professionally.
And last but not least, he is 100% the only candidate who can win over the moderate democrat and Independent vote…and whether we like it or not, this election will come down to that.
I liked Romney in 2008 and I HATE this anti-Romney movement that was created by individuals who believe it’s the establishment or the media forcing a candidate…it’s simply not. I got a HUGE eye opener when I ran for Congress on what the establishment really was, and those people are backing the likes of Newt and Santorum, not Romney…and the reason why is that Romney won’t be pushed around or swayed by them – he’ll do what’s right for the Country and not just a political party.
So…that’s why
