May your Holiday be filled with laughter, love and opportunity!
I just wanted to say hello and thank all of you again for the support you provided my campaign in 2010. I also want to thank those who have stayed involved and are working in their communities to educate and hold our elected officials accountable.
As I reflect on this year, the saying, “What does not kill you, makes you stronger” comes to mind and rings true. We have all grown stronger through a year of challenges and change.
Because we got to know so many of you, here’s a quick Carter family update!
Eddie has just published his first novel! It has been an incredible four-year experience. He took on this quest to show our two sons that they could accomplish anything they put their minds to and he hopes that his story helps others learn the same. Carlousia, The Passing of the Guard is a perfect book for young advanced readers and young adults who enjoy a quick fast paced adventure that captures your imagination and intertwines loyalty, duty, honesty and coming-of-age! Go to Carlousia.com for more information or join his fan page on Facebook.
Chris is all grown up and is enjoying his first year at Georgia Southern University.
Nick is busy as ever with swimming, lacrosse and academics. He’s excelling in his new high school in Gwinnett County. We are so thankful for great teachers and a school system that really focuses on the kids.
Me, well, I’m busy promoting Eddies’ book and am of course still very politically active.
Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa or simply the Holiday Season…May this Holiday bring joy, love and prosperity to you and yours!
God bless you and your family,
Liz Carter
