Message to the President

Compliments of Mrs Voyles via facebook…

Dear President Obama:
I am writing today with a somewhat unusual request. First and foremost, I will be asking that you return America to its August 20th, 1959 borders, so that Hawaii is no longer a state and you are no longer a citizen of the USA.

Don’t be fooled in the GA GOP Chair race

I was a bit amazed that an email was sent out this week attempting to say that Georgia did poorly in 2010 fundraising and that for some reason it was a “bad” thing that we came in 19th …so I did a bit of digging.

Is it any surprise that Michigan, who ranks 28th, Wisconsin, who ranks 20th, and Minnesota, who ranks 12th, in the “Wealthiest States Rankings”, raised more money in the 2010 election cycle, as this campaign claimed…absolutely NOT.  In fact, Georgia should celebrate that we are in the top 20, when our economic situation was in the bottom half of the United States and Georgia took the largest median household income hit.

Per the U.S. Census Bureau, Georgia ranks number 38 in median household income, and had a whopping 13.1% loss of $6,710 to $44,696, making us the biggest loser in the “wealthiest states” rankings.

The wealthiest states are as follows-
1-    New Hampshire          6- Virginia
2-    New Jersey                  7- Utah
3-    Connecticut                 8- Massachusetts
4-    Maryland                     9- Hawaii
5-    Alaska                          10- Washington

Don’t be mislead by information that can be twisted to look negative. The fact is this, The Georgia Republican Party, under Sue Everharts leadership, ranked 19th of all state Republican parties, even though we had a drastic household income loss here in Georgia. In fact, the GA GOP outraised the GOP parties of seven of the wealthiest states.

Hyped claims of “increasing fundraising by 50%” are just not realistic, when Georgia ranks number 38 and our average household income took the largest hit of all the States.

We can’t afford to play games and we can’t afford to see our party divided if we expect to win in 2012.

Please join me in supporting Sue Everhart at the GA GOP Convention this weekend, along with many Tea Party leaders, 912 leaders and individuals like yourself, who care about our party.

We don’t need “Spin”; we need Experience, Honesty and the ability to Unify.

The President Has No Clothes

For those who are celebrating the death of Osama bin Laden as an Obama victory- The victory belongs to the brave men and women who serve this country. Yes, I commend the Commander in Chief for approving the mission, but let me remind you that those who serve in the U.S. Military are the hero’s, the same ones that Obama just weeks ago attempted to use as pawns in budget negotiations. Don’t think for a minute that those soldiers did this for Obama; they did it for the American people.

Obama missed his opportunity to celebrate the Unites States and claim victory when he turned the triumph of good over evil into a politically correct sideshow. Many who suffered through the tragedy of September 11th had this victory turn “bitter sweet” when Obama attempted to placate the Osama followers with claims of a “proper” burial.

Mr. President, how many Americans have been brutally murdered by individuals following Osama bin Laden, who you claimed to have given a “proper” burial?  Do you realize that the bodies of many were not even found? What about the people who have been beheaded, beaten and dragged through the streets by these terrorists?  Do you not think that it may be more of a “hindrance” to fanatical religious terrorist to know they WON’T receive a proper burial?

Mr. President, when will you publically acknowledge that the information obtained to complete this mission, was in fact obtained by acts and the location you publically condemned? Your administration is still attempting to provide rights to terrorists that are and should be reserved to United States citizens. When you attempt to give our rights to those who seek to destroy our people and beliefs, you disrespect those who have given their lives fighting to protect them.

Mr. President, when will you be a leader and apologize to the men and women who serve our great nation? Apologize for using them as political pawns in budget negotiations; at the same time you call on them to protect you and our nation.  The same men and women who followed your command and killed Osama bin Laden.

Mr. President, right when I thought I could actually give you credit for doing great, you missed another opportunity to lead.  Those that blindly follow you will continue to do so, just like those who never told the Emperor he had no clothes.

Mr. President, thank you for helping kill Osama bin Laden, but can you please for once, follow through and give the American people 100%.
