Pigford vs. Glickman

I read this today on SodaHead.com and after doing a bit more research, I agreed with the author..it’s a must read!

Pigford vs. Glickman”, a must read!!
“In 1997, 400 African-American farmers sued the United States Department of Agriculture, alleging that they had been unfairly denied USDA loans due to racial discrimination during the period 1983 to 1997.”

The case was entitled “Pigford v. Glickman” and in 1999, the black farmers won their case. The government agreed to pay each of them as much as $50,000 to settle their claims.

But then on February 23, 2010, something shocking happened in relation to that original judgment: In total silence, the USDA agreed to release more funds to “Pigford”.

The amount was a staggering…… $1.25 billion. This was because the original number of plaintiffs – 400 black farmers – had now… swollen in a class action suit to include a total of 86,000 black farmers throughout America .

There was only one teensy problem: The United States of America doesn’t have 86,000 black farmers !!!!

According to accurate and totally verifiable Official USDA 2007 Census census data, the total number of black farmers throughout America is only 39,697. Hmmm… by the Official USDA 1992 Census data the US had only 18,816 black farmers !!

Oops !!

Well, gosh – how on earth did 39,697 explode into the fraudulent 86,000 claims ?? And how did $50,000 explode into $1.25 billion ??

Well, folks, you’ll just have to ask the woman who not only spearheaded this case because of her position in 1997 at the “Rural Development Leadership Network” but whose family received the highest single payout (approximately
$13 million) from that action – Shirley Sherrod.

Oops again !!

Yes, folks. It appears that Ms. Sherrod had just unwittingly exposed herself as the perpetrator of one of the biggest fraud claims in the United States – - a fraud enabled solely because she screamed racism at the
government and cowed them into submission.

And it gets even more interesting.

Ms. Sherrod has also exposed the person who aided and abetted her in this race fraud.

As it turns out, the original judgment of “Pigford v. Glickman” in 1999 only applied to a total of about 16,000 black farmers.

But…. in 2008, a junior US Senator got a law passed to reopen the case and allow more black farmers to sue for funds. The Senator was Barack Hussein Obama.

Because this law was passed in dead silence and because the woman responsible for spearheading it was an obscure USDA official, American taxpayers did not realize that they had just been forced in the midst of a worldwide depression to pay out more than $1.25 billion to settle a race claim.

But Breitbart knew. And last Monday, July 22, 2010, he cleverly laid a trap which Sherrod – - and Obama + his cronies – - stumbled headfirst into which has now resulted in the entire world discovering the existence of this corrupt financial judgment.

As for Ms. Sherrod ?? Well, she’s discovering too late that her cry of ‘racism’ to the media which was intended to throw the spotlight on Breitbart has instead thrown that spotlight on herself – and the huge corruption.

Sherrod has vanished from public view.

But the perpetrator of that law passed in dead silence leading to unlawful claims & corruption….. is still trying to fool all of US.

Google and read for yourself “Pigford vs. Glickman”

The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of THOSE who made him their president and believe in his policies.”

Tax Deductable…

The Responsibility is Ours

It’s time for each of us to lead, to get involved, and make a difference. As a conservative, I hope you join me in donating to an organization working to prevent and treat cancer. Too often our tax dollars go to organizations that do very little or no good – this is an opportunity to put your money to work for good. Each of us know, especially on tax day, that charitable donations are tax deductable…so wouldn’t you prefer to see your money do good, instead of fund a government that is out of control in wasteful spending?

Please donate to our team, which is in honor of Julianne Thompson’s sister…let her know she is not alone in this fight!

Almost everyone has been touched by cancer, either through their own personal battle or through someone they love.

Every day, the American Cancer Society is helping us stay well by preventing cancer or finding it at its earliest, most treatable stages. They assist families in finding the best resources to help their friend or loved one deal with a diagnosis and their journey to get well. The American Cancer Society is also rallying communities (like ours!) through events like Relay For Life, to fight back and find cures for this disease.

Please join my team or make a donation to help the American Cancer Society create a world with less cancer and more birthdays. Together, we can help make sure that cancer never steals another year of anyone’s life!

Conservative vs Liberal – old but appropriate

A Conservative and a Liberal are walking down the street. They come across a homeless man. The Conservative reaches into his pocket and gives him his business card and tells him to turn up at nine o’clock on Monday morning for a job. He then gives him two crisp ten pound notes to tide him over the weekend. A few yards later they come across another homeless man. The Liberal, having been impressed with the actions of his Conservative friend, gives the homeless man directions to the local benefits office then reaches into the Conservative’s wallet, takes out two ten pound notes and keeps one of them as an administration fee.

Fortunate? Not Again…

Obama wants to raise revenues, aka raise taxes, instead of cutting spending, again. We are creating a system that makes the majority of our citizens dependent upon the same organization they pay into, either through entitlement or employment. For those who are not dependent upon the government, Obama and many Democrats want to raise taxes and they believe those households who have been fortunate, can afford to pay more, and pay higher taxes to raise revenues to make up the gap.

Be honest with yourself – How long would you put up with paying more, just because you can, for others who, more often than not, have not worked as hard as you? Remember, you are not allowed to say where your money goes, what individual, what charity, or what church you get to give too – instead legislators in DC will decide where your money goes. And by the way, if you have a bad year or are in need of financial support, you can’t have your money back or government help, because you make enough, or did the previous year.

If you are one of the “fortunate”, that Obama and friends has identified, that he has deemed “able to pay more”, how long are you going to stay silent?

If you are one who is dependent upon the government with an entitlement program, look around, put yourself in the “fortunate” shoes for a day, look at the individual in line at the grocery store purchasing “Filet Mignon” and paying with food stamps that are pulled from a “designer” hand bag, that finds its way into a new car. When you see this, how long are you willing to pay that individual’s way? Will you or are you okay to allow your children to pay their and your way? I know, some really need help, but many have and are abusing the system, and pushing those of us who “pay more”, to look more closely at where that money goes.

I’m all for helping others, but when you really look at the government, closely look at the programs, it’s as clear as can be that these “entitlement” programs are equal to slavery and don’t help others attain individual worth – mental or material.  In fact, these programs typically trap and incent people to stay in them. Opportunity does not come from a government handout, opportunity is reduced when you increase taxes on those who can invest and create real opportunity not funded by tax dollars.

The only option is to cut spending, balance a budget, and stop over-regulating. If we don’t, the number of “fortunate” tax payers will be fewer, revenues will continue to fall, and those seeking to get off the “entitlement” train will never have that option, and our children will be working to pay off debt incurred by the past generation.

Small business owners and investors stalled during the “Obamacare” debate and passage, holding onto funds, cutting back, in anticipation of increased taxes and costs.  The same individuals will hold back again, waiting to see how much their taxes will be increased, stalling the creation of jobs and economic recovery, once again.

Be honest, please. Government has to cut and prove it believes in opportunity in the private sector – if it does not, the private sector investors and owners will go elsewhere.

Don’t stay quiet, be vocal and be seen! Feel free to join me in the “Time for Change 2012” campaign. We really can’t afford this ‘Oopsy Poopsy’ any longer.

ENERGY INDEPENDENCE

Yes, we need to actually approve a budget. Yes, we need to cut the deficit. And yes, having a real energy independence strategy for our nation is a must.

Strategically maximize the use of all our natural resources in the United States, we must reduce our dependencies on foreign oil, these countries are not necessarily our friends. Yes, “Drill Baby Drill” and you can read my thoughts on drilling in my March 23rd post.

We need to be utilizing all our resources – oil, clean coal technology, wind generation, hydroelectricity, nuclear and renewables. In addition to the resources, work is needed to improve how we move energy. Power transmission should be moved quickly from one side of the country to the other and to where it is needed.

Invest in innovation, but be realistic and don’t go broke going “green”. Each of us can do our part to help the environment, but we cannot kill jobs, increase energy costs and increase taxes to do so. The Obama “Cap & Trade” bill will eliminate jobs and increase the cost of energy for every individual in the United States. This is the wrong approach and will hurt the American People.
